When folks first open the door to our Assisted Living community, there’s often a smile, a nod and a lot of surprise and delight. The same holds true for our Memory Care community: it’s all state of the art—and heart. Please take a moment to find out more.
You see the difference right away. This does not look like assisted living. And it doesn’t feel like it either. It’s more like a resort, a bright and friendly place that feels supportive, yes, but also with a touch of class and style (a massage, for example, any day you like).
Discover how our Health & Wellness services also add to the experience with a variety of programs designed to add to quality, health and fun to every day.
There is no cookie-cutter treatment for dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. We understand your loved one requires a personal approach. Our caregivers empathize with the individual’s situation, remain loving and positive and dedicated to helping the person feel safe, secure and valued. Our programs fit the person, not the other way around.
To us, successful therapeutic care for Alzheimer’s and dementia combines care for all of life’s wants—physical, emotional, social, spiritual and cultural. We encourage family members and friends to be as actively involved in their loved one’s care as they want to be.
Our General Manager’s set the tone throughout the entire community. Our Memory Care Manager sets that tone in the memory care environment to create that exceptional lifestyle. The Memory Care Manager is responsible for coordinating with the Health & Wellness Director, resident assessments and care plans, family relationships, staff scheduling and day-to-day life in memory care. Our memory care managers are dynamic and passionate individuals who care for residents like they were family members and treat family members as a partner in caring for their loved one.
There is no question, caring for a loved one is stressful for everyone involved. It’s incredibly sad to watch someone you know so well lose their memory, and seemingly, themselves. But we can help relieve some of that anxiety and stress. Your loved one can still find meaning and contentment in each new day, and you can still enjoy every moment you have with them.
